Oeno Presents Freemark Abbey Partnership
26/01/2021Freemark Abbey is one of the most respected wine producers in Napa Valley, dating back to a historic 1886. Freemark Abbey manages two prized vineyards in the Napa Valley, Bosché and Sycamore, which are some of the oldest single-vineyards in the region. In total the winery sources fruit from 15 diverse vineyards, forging a decades-long record for producing exceptional Napa Cabernet.

Oeno is proud to release rare library stock from Freemark Abbey including Bosche vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon with vintages going back to 1991, and Sycamore single vineyard Cab going back to 1997. One of the collections showcases 13 vintages spanning two decades, while the other two focus on the vineyards themselves with a Bosche collection and a Sycamore collection. Oeno will also be working with Freemark’s range of single varietal wines (Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonay, Merlot and Cab Sauvignon) which will be released in the near future.
We are very happy to strengthen the relationship with this historic winery which is owned by Jackson Family, owners of some of the most well-known wineries globally from Australia to Italy.
Oeno are extremely pleased to announce that we will be working with Freemark Abbey on a UK exclusive basis. We are very pleased to bring to the market their current vintages, made under new winemaker Kirsty Melton, in addition to their rare older vintages.
