“The price for the 2017 La Diva felt quite ludicrous, but even in a challenging year like 2017, it’s clear that this plot of 0.35-hectares planted with Tempranillo and some 11% Albillo on sandy limestone soils has something special. It absorbs the effect of the years and comes through as a much more balanced wine with more elegant tannins and marked personality. This might not be the strongest vintage, but it’s still a very worthy elegant and powerful wine with the ingredients to develop nicely in bottle.” Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate. (2019)
