The Thiénot X Penfolds Blanc de Blancs 2012 Champagne 75cl a very special limited release Champagne, a partnership between Penfolds and Thiénot. All the Chardonnay grapes used are sourced from Grand Cru vineyards from the village of Avize. No malolactic fermentation takes place to maintain the bright varietal characters and racy acidity.

Light greenish-yellow, silver reflections, fine, well persistent mousse. Minerality, distinct aromas, very enticing, fresh apple notes and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate powerful, full-bodied and extractive, elegant acidity, recurring mineral tones, very complex and long lasting, very classy, good ageing potential.
