The wines represent the joint efforts of Thiénot chef de cave Nicolas Uriel who together with Peter shared agreed style and quality ambitions. The Champagne is made from grapes sourced from prestigious and highly regarded vineyards in Champagne from the spectacular 2012 vintage.
Deep straw. Nicely composed and creamy nose that is quite advanced. On the palate it’s a bit rounder than many 2012s already, which makes it accessible but rather soft and unusual for a 2012. Not that long and there’s a slight mealiness.
Time will be kind with this wine.
