Sopla Poniente Palo Cortado “El Coronel” 2022 500ml

Beautiful Palo Cortado, and that from D.O. Montilla-Moriles that has matured for 30 years. Made from 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes that are more than 40 years old, that is what makes this Palo Cortado so special. The wine has matured biologically and oxidatively for 30 years, according to thesolera system. This white wine is intensely mahogany in color, clear. A nice clean nose, very intense, hazelnuts, herbs, a clear touch of yeast tones due to maturation, you encounter it all.

The wine is dry in the mouth, with an average acidity, quite a lot of alcohol, 17%. The taste is intense, with hints of dried fruit, bitter almond, a light toast flavor and yeast notes. Long aftertaste where you clearly encounter dried fruit notes.
