Truffle season in Piemont was in full swing, and the team explored multiple Nebbiolo pairings and received great inspiration for future wine-pairing menus. The visit started with a memorable tour of the old Borgogno cellars and was wrapped up with a detailed trip to the most important Crus of the Barolo region, including Cannubi and Liste.
Born in 1761 in the heart of Barolo, Borgogno is the oldest continuously operating Barolo producer, standing witness to the most significant moments in Italian history. In 1861, the year of the Unification of Italy, Borgogno’s Barolo was chosen to accompany the official celebratory lunch.
